Cookie Policy

Effective date: October 10, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage Sndiq ("Sndiq," "we," "us," or "our") sets on sndiq.com and in your account, what each one is for, and how to control them.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small piece of data a website stores in your browser so it can recognize the browser between page loads. Similar technologies, such as local storage and session storage, work the same way. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are first-party. Cookies set by other companies through that site are third-party.

2. What we set

These are the cookies Sndiq sets, and nothing else. We set no advertising cookies.

  • sq_session. Keeps you signed in and keeps our forms working. It holds a random identifier and no personal information. Before you sign in it lasts until you close the browser. Once you sign in it lasts 12 hours, or 14 days if you ask us to remember you.
  • sq_theme. Remembers whether you chose the light, dark, or system theme. It lasts one year.
  • sq_analytics. Set only if you turn website analytics off on the Your Privacy Choices page. It records that choice for this browser and lasts one year.

3. Browser storage

Browser storage is not a cookie, but it works the same way, so we list it.

  • Analytics script (public pages). Keeps a random visitor identifier and the first and last campaign details a visit arrived with (the referring site and campaign parameters) in local storage, and a random visit identifier plus a few short-lived flags in session storage. All of these keys start with _sq:. We use them to recognize a returning visit. We do not use them to build advertising profiles or to track you across other websites.
  • Chat assistant (public pages and signed-in areas). Keeps a conversation identifier for the tab you are using, in session storage, and remembers whether you turned spoken replies on, in local storage (sq-voice- followed by the area).
  • Your account (signed in). Remembers your preferred message preview style (sq_phone_style) and the columns you last picked in an export, in local storage.

4. Analytics and your choices

The public pages of sndiq.com load an analytics script from drkpixel.com, a service we operate. It records the pages viewed, how a visit arrived, clicks, the visitor's IP address, browser and device details, and, when a form is submitted, the name, company, email address, and telephone number entered. We use it to understand and improve our website and to follow up with people who contact us. It does not run in the signed-in account area.

The script honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal: when GPC is on, the script does not run and sends nothing. The Your Privacy Choices page, which lets you turn it off, does not load it at all.

5. Other companies on our pages

  • Cloudflare. Sits in front of our website to deliver it and protect it from abuse, and may set security cookies for those purposes.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile. Runs on our sign-up form and on the privacy request form to tell people from bots. It loads only on those two forms.
  • Stripe. When you add funds to an account, you are sent to a page hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies under its own policy.

We set no advertising cookies and allow no advertising networks on our pages.

6. Managing cookies

Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking sq_session stops you from signing in and from submitting forms; everything else on the public site keeps working. You can turn analytics off on the Your Privacy Choices page, or by enabling Global Privacy Control in a browser that supports it.

7. Changes to this policy

If we add or change a cookie or a script, we will update this page and the date at the top.
